In this 5th episode of Journey Through the Quran, Season 2, Shaykh Riad Saloojee reflects on the final verse of Surah al-Ankabut: “And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of ihsan.” (Qur’an 29:69)
 

In this next episode of Journey through the Quran (Season 2), Shaykh Riad Saloojee reflects on the ayah: “Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish the prayer. Indeed, the prayer restrains from shamelessness and wrongdoing. And the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows what you do.” (Surah al-‘Ankabut, 29:45)

Reflecting on Surah Al-Baqarah (2:165), Shaykh Mokhtar explains how the Qur’an exposes the ways we give our hearts, emotions, and attachments to created things, often with the intensity, devotion, and hope that belong only to Allah.
