Arabic: لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ ٱلْمُبِينُ، مُحَمَّدٌۭ رَّسُولُ ٱللَّهِ، ٱلصَّادِقُ ٱلْوَعْدُ ٱلْأَمِينُ
Transliteration: "Lā ilāha illā Allāh, al-Malik, al-Ḥaqq, al-Mubīn. Muḥammadun Rasūl Allāh, aṣ-Ṣādiqu al-Waʿdu al-Amīn."
Translation: "There is no god but Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth, the Manifest. Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, the Truthful, the One who fulfills the promise, the Trustworthy."
Explanation:
Lā ilāha illā Allāh: "There is no god but Allah" – affirming the oneness of Allah.
Al-Malik: "The Sovereign" – Allah is the supreme ruler of the universe.
Al-Haqq: "The Truth" – Allah is the ultimate reality and source of all truth.
Al-Mubeen: "The Manifest" – Allah is evident and His existence is clear.
Muḥammadun Rasūl Allāh: "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah" – affirmation of Prophet Muhammad’s prophethood.
Aṣ-Ṣādiqu al-Waʿdu: "The Truthful and the One who fulfills the promise" – referring to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) as the one who is true to his word and fulfills all promises.
Al-Amīn: "The Trustworthy" – highlighting the Prophet Muhammad’s title as the most trustworthy and reliable person, a title given to him even before his prophethood.
This full statement beautifully encapsulates both the declaration of faith in Allah and the high moral character of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), emphasizing his trustworthiness, truthfulness, and the fulfillment of promises.
